The main unifying element is the bluestone walkway that leads from the street to the front porch and a side sitting porch of bluestone, with stepping stones extending around the side of the house and opening to a large terrace that sets the stage for a verdantly landscaped backyard.

Garden accents include a white pergola on the front side sitting porch, a latticed chimney for a climbing clematis, a sitting wall in the backyard that frames the terrace, a border fence, and a rose arbor and gate at the back of the lot. A wooden pergola over the back gate allows entrance to a patio area of wrought iron table and chairs.
