My daughter, Meg, has been so excited about her Internship for her Masters in Counseling at the Fan Free Clinic. Each night she talks about how marvelous the staff is, and how much they do for our community.

Kevin and I wanted to join into that volunteerism in some way, and impact their landscape.

I knew we needed something totally maintenance free, that would be easy to install; something big enough to see from the street as cars whizzed by; something that would need no maintenance, and be a real show stopper.  Of course…boulders!

When I suggested it to the staff they were thrilled. They had not had anything new in the front for 16 years.

Pete Rose at Pete Rose Landscaping  (peteroselandscaping.com) was extremely generous to add to the holiday cheer by donating 4 tons of boulders and the bulldozer to place them.

The existing liriope, straight cement wall and line of crape myrtles served as the perfect backdrop for the natural stone sculptures. Fan Free footed the bill for rosemary and Blue Point junipers for 5 pots, and the 3 abelia we added to brighten up the solid green liriope.

Take a drive by when you can for a glimpse of  powerful landscaping wrapped in the Spirit of Giving.
