Instead of a Lawn: A great Garden Design Idea

We saw this front yard on Monument Ave. It is a large area of dwarf mundo grass, edged in steel then surrounded by boxwoods. The corner focal point of the Japanese maple gives it the artistic punch in the midst of perfectly green order.

Dwarf mundo grass needs shade and boxwoods and jap maples need sun- so it is a tricky blend of conditions.
